As a player/coach, I lead projects by translating customer needs into product requirements and guiding cross-functional teams through a human-centered design process that promotes collaboration and connects people inside and outside the organization.
In the beginning, my goal is to connect with people. I learn about their average day, what they are trying to achieve, and what obstacles they face. It doesn’t matter if they are users, business partners, employees, consumers, sponsors, or vendors. Everyone is a part of the process, so getting to know how each person contributes can have a big impact.

Collaborate
Collaboration helps everyone understand a company's inner workings, and it builds trust and appreciation. I work with designers in Miro, Figma, and Dovetail. With developers, I observe builds in GitHub or Storybook. For product managers, I attend standups, review backlogs, and join sprint planning and retros. I also work with leaders to understand how our work affects the business, from internal funding to customer value.

Having built those shared experiences, I can better understand where to focus certain efforts over others, budget for time and resources, modify processes, mentor, gain efficiency, increase customer satisfaction, and grow the business.
